Daughters of the Goddess Spiral Dance

Daughters of the Goddess are an extremely powerful, dianic women's group who have danced the Sacred Spiral in the San Francisco Bay area for the last 30 years. They live to gather. Kahuna Leilani Birely is a lineagekeeper of the Aloha Spirit, who grounds our gathering and links the Rainbow Bridge from San Francisco to Maui, which is her ancestral land. So when our sisters gather on October 30th in Orinda, and we call in the directions, we have no trouble shifting into intention, altar creation, honoring our ancestors and Elders. When Eden come we are transported, as she dances Tahitian style, the resulting energy lifts us to Lono's cloud nations. I see this event as my opportunity to strengthen my ties with other womyn. When ticket sales open and we land at the Temple, we see that the women we have know three decades, we also embrace the opportunity to unite with new sisters - which includes corresponding more once the dance is over for the season - for every year we return time and again. As time goes on, we have never doubted our desire to come, even though some years life has kept us out of the action, but because this is one of several events we look forward to, we've moved closer so we can come more!
