Acoustic guitar, ETC Jam

Upcoming jam dates are 10/17/26, 11/28/26 and 12/26/26 . The OCTOBER (10/17/26) event starts at 1:30 PM, as another event uses the room in the morning.We'll end at around 3:30or 4 PM at Clearwater Countryside Library 2642 Sabal Springs Dr · Clearwater, FL. The community room is the big room on the left before entering the main library. Arrive at 12:30~ish to help set up chairs and socialize with other musicians. If you arrive at the library before I do, ask the librarian to open the Community Room door and the closet to the chairs so you can start setting up to be ready to play by 1 PM . We welcome singers and players of acoustic instruments such as guitar, ukulele, violin, mandolin, harmonicas, flutes, washboards, beat-box, etc. (I have invited support players, lead guitar and a bass, to bring their amps. Otherwise, it's acoustic.) The song charts we’ll use sometimes call for a CAPO to raise the key so we can sing it. So if you can CAPO your stringed instrument or can transpose on the fly come on over! No need to bring paper copies! Songs with chords and lyrics will be displayed on a big screen TV. I have a large song library (mostly classic rock) in the OnSong app. If you want to contribute songs and/or lead a specific song, that’s do-able too. Find us on Meetup.com. But already I have a VERY LARGE LIBRARY OF SONGS ALREADY. So if it's a song I'm likely to have, I don't want to import a duplicate version. Just send me the title and the artists' name.

When we finish, we’ll put the chairs away etc. No food is allowed in the meeting room, but you can bring water bottles. Please contribute $5 to help keep this jam going. There will be a green hat where you can put $, which will be graciously accepted! Hope to see you all there!
