Join me for a lesson in line dancing with International Line Dance Instructor and Choreographer as well as World Champion Country Dance Competitor, John Dembiec. "Absolute Beginner" line dance lessons will be provided for three (3) popular songs, and repeated before the end of class. Line dancing is all about muscle - memory, so the more you practice the dance, the more you will follow the steps without having to remember them! This is a fun way to gently get your body moving and also meet new friends. Cost for this event is $10/person, payable at the door.
Please wear comfortable shoes that slide easily on the wooden floors. Do not wear rubber soled shoes.
There is plenty of parking at the Sara Dance Center, 2821 Cattlemen Road in Sarasota, 1/4 mile north of Bee Ridge and just south of Webber. Please wear your DGS badge. If you do not have a DGS badge, please message me and I will make one for you. A $5 donation for the badge is appreciated.
