Christmas Ride from Shoreham Fort

Meet 10am Shoreham Fort car park.
Along the sea front to Worthing then up through Angmering Park before returning to Littlehampton and Arun Yacht Club for Christmas lunch. My test run gave 2 hours 15 mins (22m) so should arrive at lunch by 12.30 without a coffee stop. That's the club ride.

If anyone would like a coffee stop, there are plenty of cafes like Sea Lane (Goring) and Bluebird (Ferring) on the coast road, but you would need to go straight to LA afterwards (ie missing out Angmering Park) if you want to be at lunch on time. That would be a non-club ride.

The ride ends at the lunch venue, Arun Yacht Club which is a hundred yards up the Rope Walk past where we meet at the footbridge (west side). Route back is via the coast road (around an hour, less if it's a Westerly wind). Or by train. Lunch should end by around 2pm. Ride open to all, including those who aren't having the Christmas lunch.

Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy and you have sufficient equipment to make at least puncture repairs. All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and getting home if bike cannot be repaired roadside. The first aid provisions are no different from if you were riding on your own or informally with friends.
