Shut Up & Write! @ Moxy

Having trouble focusing/being productive, or do you simply need a change of scene from your usual writing environment? Come along to Shut Up & Write! on Thursdays for an hour of focused writing, in an informal and supportive atmosphere. This is for writers of any genre and you do not have to share your work. Most people who come find it helpful to be in the company of other people with the same goal and it's surprising how productive you can be in one hour. Aside from the writing, it can be enjoyable doing something different after work, getting out on a week night and meeting new people. From 6.30pm: Get a coffee, take your seat, meet fellow writers 7pm: Pen poised/laptop ready and… write! 8pm: Head off or stay and chat about what you’re working on/life in general. NOTE: This is not a group for critiquing your writing. We provide a space for focused writing; many members like the fact you do not share your work at the end because it's more relaxed. Members should bring their own project to work on.
