Thriller suspense, intrigue, Book Club… Optional read

I recently took a annotation class and found it very fascinating. We discussed it at Book Club and there was interest in doing a book together and annotating it. We chose the Lion Women of Tehran. By Marian Kamala

This is purely optional and a book that we are going to take over the next several months to finish. We will highlight four categories

One highlight, sticky note, color for character insight.

Two highlight different color sticky note, for settings, surroundings, and conditions.

Three highlight different color quotations that means something to you personally

Fourth sticky note different color for history/signs of the time. Wherever you put a sticky note on a page underline the passage that you are referring to can be in pencil so you don’t ruin your book. If you’re interested and you’re not sure how to do this just join us next time and we’ll discuss it and explain how we’re looking at these books. We are going to do the first three chapters for the November 14 meeting. This will just be an add-on at the end of the meetings until we reach the end of the novel again optional not required.
