Weekend badminton

Booking & Cancellation Note

There is no fee for the Meetup event itself. However, the booking cost is currently $11 per person.

The cancellation deadline is 7:00 PM PT on the day before the event. If you need to cancel, please update your RSVP by then.

After the deadline, everyone who is still RSVP’d is assumed to be attending, and the $11 becomes non-refundable. This is just to keep the cost fair for everyone, since the booking cost is split among the people who registered to attend.

If more people join and the per-person cost goes down, I’ll adjust the amount accordingly and refund everyone the difference based on the final cost.

Casual badminton session at Bellevue Badminton Club(Redmond).

Cost Breakdown:

A 1-hour court reservation at Bellevue Badminton Club typically costs around $45 total for member bookings.

Non-members (guests) may also need to pay an additional BBC guest fee when checking in (usually around $8 per guest).

The total cost is shared among attendees, so the final amount per person depends on:
number of players joining
how many players are BBC members vs guests

Typical cost examples:
4 players → usually around $15–20/person
5–6 players → usually around $10–15/person

I’ll usually confirm and book the court once enough players join so the cost stays reasonable for everyone.
