Détail des présentations de Laurent et Louis:

18:00 Sovereign PostgreSQL on Kubernetes in a Global Bank: What We Built with CloudNativePG par Laurent Parodi (HSBC)
How do you run PostgreSQL as a self-service platform in a regulated bank, with no public cloud dependency and no lock-in? Laurent Parodi shares the vision behind a sovereign, Kubernetes-native DBaaS, and walks through the challenges a bank brings and the answers the team found using CloudNativePG
18:45 The price of read consistency: how MVCC keeps your old versions in SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Oracle par Louis Tochon (dbi services)
While SQL Server’s default isolation level prevents dirty reads, it can lead to concurrency issues like blocking and deadlocks. To explore how to overcome these limitations, this presentation provides a technical state of the art comparing SQL Server's Row Versioning with PostgreSQL and Oracle's MVCC frameworks. Together, we will analyze how each database engine uniquely implements non-blocking reads and the different architectural paths they chose to achieve it.
