Folkestone Central to Hythe

Come with me on an enjoyable walk from Folkestone Central to Hythe. We will meet outside Folkestone Central Station at 11.00 am, during our walk, we will stop for a hot drink in Sandgate, then afterwards carry on walking to Hythe promenade as (above image}. We will then have lunch in the Starr cafe in the High Street {or bring our own}. After lunch we get th 104 bus back to Folkeston Central Station . It is recommended to get the 4.38 pm back to London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross Stations., for those travelling on South Eastern Trains. If we walk both ways the walk is between 7-8 miles, or 3-4 miles one way. Meet up fee is £7 {please have the right change}. Tickets Fo those travelling on South Eastern Trains, you can get the 9.13 from London Bridge, but if you have a 60+ oyster card or a freedom pass, your card will take you to Knockholt, where the train goes through, You can buy your ticket from any train station, starting from Knockholt for the 9.20 am train, as you will save money, and you can use your senior rail card, which makes it even cheaper. if you need any more info ring Paul on 07530 675739 or email [email protected].
