📍 IMPORTANT – CHANGE OF LOCATION

Our beach adventure has moved from Killiney Beach to SANDYCOVE BEACH! 🌊
We've made the change so that we can guarantee sauna space for our group and enjoy the full sea + sauna experience together.
Everything else stays the same — just a new location!

🌊 SANDYCOVE BEACH ADVENTURE

Sea, Sauna & Connection

Come join us for a relaxed, feel-good adventure by the sea — a chance to get outdoors, meet new people and enjoy some connection and fun.
You can swim, dip, paddle or simply come along for the company. There is absolutely no pressure to get into the water.
Afterwards, we'll warm up together in the sauna and have time to chat and connect.

📍 WHERE TO MEET

Meet at the Lifeguard Hut at Sandycove Beach.
The Lifeguard Hut is at the beach itself, close to Sandycove Point.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can meet as a group before we get started.

🚆 GETTING THERE

By DART:
Take the DART to Sandycove & Glasthule Station. From there, it's approximately a 10-minute walk down towards Sandycove and the seafront.
By Bus:
The 59 and 111 serve the Sandycove area, with stops within walking distance of the beach.
By Car:
There is some parking in the wider Sandycove/Glasthule area, but parking close to the beach is limited, so please allow extra time to find a space.
If you're happy to walk a little, parking further back towards Glasthule or along the Dún Laoghaire side can be a good option.
Please check parking signs and restrictions wherever you park.

🎒 WHAT TO BRING

Swimsuit / swimming gear if you're getting in
Towel
Warm clothes for afterwards
Flip-flops or easy shoes for the sauna
Water
A warm drink if you'd like one
And most importantly — yourself! 😊
If you don't fancy swimming, come anyway. You can dip, paddle, watch from the shore or simply come for the company.
The whole idea behind the group is to get out, try something different, meet people and have some fun together.

💙 A few things to know
This is our very first event, so everyone is new! Come on your own, bring a friend or simply come along to say hello.
Swimming and sauna participation are entirely optional.
This is a social gathering, not a supervised swimming event. Please assess sea conditions and your own swimming ability. If the sea isn't safe, we'll stay out of the water and enjoy our time together on land.
