H.P. Lovecraft - "The rats in the walls" & "The haunter of the dark"

Hallo zusammen,
für unsere gemeinsame Lektüre haben wir uns für 2 Geschichten von H.P. Lovecraft entschieden: "The rats in the walls" (Die Ratten im Gemäuer) und "The haunter of the dark" (Der leuchtende Trapezoeder). Ihr könnt auch dabei sein, auch wenn ihr nur eine der Geschichten gelesen habt.

Wir treffen uns am 25. Oktober um 14:00 Uhr im Café Wellnitz (oben auf der Belétage).

The rats in the walls: "Following the death of his son, a Massachusetts man returns to his family's ancestral home in England. There, he is haunted by the sound of rats scurrying behind the castle walls. Ultimately, he discovers a terrible subterranean secret of his family's past." (Amazon)

"The haunter of the dark": "The protagonist, Robert Blake - a young man with an interest in the occult (...) becomes fascinated by a large disused church set on Federal Hill in Providence's west (...). His researches reveal that the church has a sinister history involving a cult called the Church of Starry Wisdom and is dreaded by the local inhabitants as being haunted by a primeval evil."
