🥾 Klipriviersberg Hiking 11 km – Johannesburg Social Hike

Escape the city and join us for a beautiful 11 km social hike at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, one of the largest and most scenic nature reserves close to Johannesburg.

Expect rolling hills, open grasslands, birdlife, scenic trails, fresh air, and panoramic views while enjoying a relaxed and friendly outdoor social with like-minded people.

⏰ Time: 7:30 AM

📍 Meeting Point: 129 Peggy Vera Road (South Entrance to Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve).

After parking your vehicle, walk through the wide passage beneath the thatched-roof building. Once through, you will see the group waiting on the lawn on the east side of the building.

This is a social fitness hike. We will not be running, but we also won’t be walking slowly, so a moderate level of fitness is recommended to fully enjoy the experience.

Hiking offers many benefits including improved fitness, reduced stress, better mental wellbeing, and the opportunity to connect with nature and other outdoor enthusiasts.

☕ After the hike, those who wish are welcome to continue the social at Just Darling at Balwin Thaba Eco Village Lifestyle Centre for coffee or brunch and coffee.
