This walk takes you from Wendover up to Wendover Woods and the highest point in the Chiltern Hills, then through the stunning Tring Park, before following part of the Ancient Ridgeway Trail back to Wendover. If it’s your first time exploring this area, you’re in for a treat—designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers rolling hills, lovely beech woodlands, and fantastic views, making it a perfect place for a walk.

What to Expect
A 12 mile walk mainly on good tracks and small lanes, some tracks may be a little muddy in places. There will be a number of hills and expect some steep climbs, total ascent will be 1200ft. We will maintain a pace of just over 3mph throughout the walk.

This is a great walk but is quite challenging due to the distance and amount of ascent. It suitable for anyone with a good standard of walking fitness.
