Ansonia Nature Center to Quillinan Trail Loop. Picnic Afterwards!!!

We'll be starting out from the Ansonia Nature Center Trail and connect with the Quillinan Reservoir Loop. This is approximately 6-mile moderate-paced loop hike that features rolling terrain with interesting rock formations, a babbling brook, the Quillinan Reservoir, and a visit to where the last Paugussett Indian settlement was. Total elevation gain is a mild 700 ft.

If a picnic is scheduled, and you'd like to participate, please bring something that could be shared (i.e. potluck) and a chair.

Please arrive ten to fifteen minutes early because we plan to start promptly at the time listed.

We do ask for a contribution of $3 per hike or $15 per year to cover meetup.com fees and if any money is leftover it goes towards our annual social event.
