December Classics: East of Eden

Hello fellow classics lovers! For our next meeting we'll discuss John Steinbeck's East Of Eden. This book has been floating around in many people's minds due to the recent release of a miniseries on Netflix. I know I like to read books before I see the show/movie, so thought this is a good opportunity to dig into the text that Steinbeck himself considered his magnum opus.

We're giving ourselves a little more time to read this one, so the next meeting will be the first Saturday in December. Feel free to read whatever edition you want. It makes for an interesting conversation when we read different versions of the same book!

We'll meet at TwentySix Cafe in NE Portland. If you are interested in joining, please RSVP so we know how much space to prepare. If you realize that you cannot make it, please update your attendance so others have an opportunity to join. Thank you!
