2nd Solar Eclipse Enthusiasts Social 🌒 Stories & Future Adventures

Some people see a total solar eclipse once and immediately start chasing their next one. Others are still wondering whether travelling all that way for a few minutes of the Sun's corona is worth it. Both are welcome.

Join us at Tempest in San Francisco for a relaxed evening of drinks, food, eclipse stories and travel plans. Whether you witnessed totality in 2017, 2024, or 2026, have chased the Moon’s shadow around the world, or haven’t experienced your first yet, come satisfy your curiosity.

I watched this year’s eclipse in Spain, and I am planning to see one again on August 2, 2027 and 22nd July 2028. I’d love to hear your experiences, questions, and plans too and help you decide whether Benghazi, Luxor, or Mecca are worth it or if there are easier destinations.

Everyone covers their own food and drinks. Please bring valid photo ID for the bar.
