We are getting together for the Birmingham Rhymes and Bites Poetry Social, a low-pressure afternoon for anyone who enjoys reading, writing, or simply listening to poetry. This is a casual space where we can share some lines, talk about favorite verses, or just enjoy the company of others who appreciate the craft. Whether you have a notebook full of drafts or you are just curious about the local poetry scene, you will find a welcoming group here.

We will meet up, grab some snacks, and settle into some conversation about the poems that move us. There is no requirement to perform or share your own work unless you want to, so feel free to come exactly as you are. It is all about building a friendly community here in Birmingham where we can step back from the busyness of the week and focus on some good words.
