But I assure you, my music is not.” - Mozart Join us 23 August at the Royal Albert Hall for a special LoMAZ trip to see Mozart’s “Haffner” Symphony at the BBC 2026 Proms... The Academy of St Martin in the Fields spotlights the French horn and bassoon in two concertos: one classic, one contemporary. The ink is still wet on veteran Scottish composer Thea Musgrave’s new Bassoon Concerto, ‘Out of the Darkness’, receiving its world premiere. Mozart’s good-natured Horn Concerto No. 3 ends with a rollicking Allegro that’s hard to resist. There are more dancing rhythms from Britten’s playful Simple Symphony – based on themes written by the composer before the age of 12.
