Twixmas Walking Break – North York Moors & Coast

Make the most of those days between Christmas and New Year with three nights of winter walking, good company and a change of scene in North Yorkshire.

WHAT WE’LL BE DOING
We’ll have three days of guided walking, exploring both the North York Moors and Yorkshire coast.
One day takes us from Robin Hood’s Bay along the coast towards Whitby, where there’ll be time to explore before we meet up for fish and chips.
We’ll also head into the moors around Goathland and Grosmont, with our final shorter walk likely to explore either Helmsley and Rievaulx or Sutton Bank.
Expect around 6–10 miles of walking each day, with the exact routes adjusted to suit the winter weather and conditions.

COMING ON YOUR OWN?
Most people who travel with Large Outdoors come on their own, so you certainly won’t be the only person arriving without knowing anyone.
Twixmas works particularly well as a sociable break – we walk together during the day and head out to local pubs and restaurants together in the evenings.

CAR-FREE OPTION
You don’t need a car for this trip. We offer a complimentary collection from Malton railway station at around 18:00 on the first evening, with a return to Malton after our final walk.
