AI is changing how technology is built, how organisations operate, and what skills businesses value. Rather than focusing on AI technology itself, this event will explore a more personal question:
What does the AI era mean for our careers in the IT industry?

CITA and BA Career will bring together four senior technology and business leaders to share their perspectives on how careers, skills and leadership may evolve over the next 5–10 years.

Moving beyond the technology itself, our panel will explore how AI is reshaping the technology workforce, how professional roles and career pathways may evolve, and what individuals and organisations can do to prepare for the changes ahead.

Whether you're a software engineer, business analyst, product professional, QA specialist, data practitioner, technology leader, or someone aspiring to enter the IT industry, this conversation will offer valuable perspectives to help you navigate your next career move.

Panelist

Francis Ho, Director of Engineering at Auror
Sylvia Ding, Advisor and Coach at LumenCo
Abinesh Krishan, Chairperson of the Board at Potentia
Nathan Wallace, Head of Digital Technology Operations at Millennium Hotels and Resorts

Facilitator

Kelly Hou, Head of Product Engineering at EverCommerce

Key Takeaway

The event should help attendees connect the dots between:
Where the industry is heading → what skills will matter → how to think about their own career.
The goal is not to predict the future, but to help our community prepare for it.
