Reno Vinyl Hunting 101: Crate Digging Basics

If you have ever walked into a record shop and felt a bit overwhelmed by the stacks of vinyl, this get-together is for you. We are heading out to a local shop to break down the fundamentals of crate digging. This is a relaxed, informal session designed for those who are just starting their collection and want to learn how to scan through bins efficiently, identify quality pressings, and spot hidden gems without feeling rushed or intimidated.

We will spend the afternoon practicing how to flip through records, checking sleeve and vinyl condition, and discussing what to look for when you are browsing on a budget. Whether you are looking to build a specific genre collection or just want to find a few starter albums to enjoy at home, this is a great chance to ask questions and learn the ropes alongside other local music fans.

If you are interested in joining us for some digging and conversation, please go ahead and RSVP so I have an idea of how many folks are coming. Looking forward to meeting some fellow record lovers.
