Hey, how's it going? NAE Community Kitchen: Veganuary Plant-Based looks like it should be pretty interesting. Want me to help you organise around it?

The New Art Exchange Corner Cafe (which is entirely plant-based) puts on a community meal on the first Thursday of every month, from 5pm till 7. This is a continuation of their earlier community meals but now each has a focus on the cuisine of a particular country, and is paired with a relevant film.

Pay what you want or can afford - donation rather than set price. Drinks are generally not part of the deal but can be bought for their usual prices. Note: it's best to get there early rather than late, to be sure of getting a meal. And unfortunately it can get crowded in the cafe and we may need to share a table with others not in the group, and be mindful of others needing space.

November meal: Veganuary Plant-Based
https://nae.org.uk/event/the-filipino-kitchen/

"This January, come and join us for an evening of plant-based food as part of Veganuary. As a plant-based café, we want to celebrate what plant-based food means to us, bring people together and start conversations over a good meal.

Meals are served from 5 pm and drinks are available to buy at the café.
Our gallery will be open until late for you to explore.
Everyone is welcome – no one turned away for lack of funds. Sit down, enjoy a great meal and get to know your local community!
Please note that The Community Kitchen is first-come, first-served. We prepare a limited number of portions to minimise food waste. While booking a ticket helps us estimate how many people to expect and promotes the event, it does not guarantee that you will receive food. We recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.
Our food is always vegan-friendly at Community Kitchen events and allergy information is available on request."
