Apologies for the slightly late announcement and hope everyone is having a great autumn so far. Our next reading session will focus on If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies by Eliezer Yudkowsky and Nate Soares. We will specifically evaluate their arguments on existential threats and loss of control posed by Artificial Intelligence. You will find the reading PDFs in the comment section.
For each reading discussion, I'll spend first 15 min introducing the main frameworks of the book, followed by a Q&A discussion and freeform discussion based on the topic that interested you the most. In this case, we can dive deeper into the book and really hammer down the big questions.
We will be meeting at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, Room 862. Turn Right after you make it to 8th floor! Let me know if you have any questions and looking forward to see you there :)
