This coming Tuesday we'll be looking at the work of Alberto Giacometti (1901–1966), one of the major figures of post-war modern sculpture. Giacometti was a Swiss sculptor, painter and draughtsman, renowned for his distinctive elongated, fragile human figures that explore themes of isolation, vulnerability and the human condition.
