DeBeck's Hill Loop via North Ridge Trail: Intermediate

DeBeck’s Hill Loop via North Ridge Trail is a moderately challenging forest hike near Alice Lake that combines a steady climb, ridge terrain, and scenic viewpoints over Squamish and the surrounding mountains. The route reaches DeBeck’s Hill, where hikers are rewarded with panoramic views of the park, the Squamish Valley, and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Some sections of the trail are steeper and more technical, particularly along the ridge and descents. The route is also shared with mountain bikers and trail runners, so hikers should remain alert on narrower sections.

This hike will happen in November, so depending on the weather on that day and prior, we might encounter some snow at higher altitudes. Therefore, it is recommended to be prepared, for instance, with microspikes.

4. Warm layers + Jacket + Toque/Hat + Gloves
5. Waterproof Jacket, Pack Cover and Pants, Gaiters
6. Microspikes/Trail crampons
7. Sun Glasses, Sun Screen, and Hat
