Portland Mycelium Networks: Fungi Fundamentals Workshop

Join us for Fungi Fundamentals, a hands-on workshop where we'll dive into the fascinating world of mycelium networks and mushroom cultivation. Whether you're curious about how fungi connect forests underground, interested in growing your own mushrooms at home, or just want to learn more about these incredible organisms, this is the perfect place to start. We'll cover the basics of fungal biology, explore different cultivation methods, and you'll get to see some living cultures up close. It's casual and welcoming—no prior knowledge needed.

This workshop is for anyone in Portland who's intrigued by fungi and wants to connect with others who share that interest. Expect a mix of learning, conversation, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We'll keep things practical and grounded, focusing on real information you can actually use. Bring your curiosity and maybe a notebook if you like taking notes.

If this sounds like something you'd want to be part of, please RSVP so we know how many people to expect and can prepare materials accordingly. We're looking forward to seeing you there.
