PJ 5K & 1-Mile Walk thru Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

What my wife (Penny) and I enjoy is signing up for the 1mi walk but then walking the 5K race course. There’s been free admission in the past for active duty military and veterans to drive the glittering lights display on day 1 of the event, though I’ve not confirmed if the benefit is being offered this year. It’s also no problemo if people prefer to walk solo, with their family/friends or with us as a group. Click on “read more” at the bottom of the event description for a registration link.
I’m posting this event rather early in there’s a discounted price of $25 for early registration, which later increases to $35, though I couldn’t find the date of the price increase. Also, bring cash for same day registration where credit cards weren’t accepted in the past. It’s also possible to pick up the race/walk packet at the event rather than picking up the race pack on the day prior to the event. Happy trails…
