This edition: classic meets film themes At tonhalleCRUSH, different styles come together – this time right from the first half, in the presented orchestral concert featuring Paavo Järvi and the pianist, ‘Fokus’ artist and Gershwin specialist Wayne Marshall: The famous ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ combines jazz, blues and symphonic elements. Before that, there is a suite drawn from Fauré’s incidental music for Maeterlinck’s play ‘Pelléas et Mélisande’. In the second part of the evening, a group of orchestra musicians will bring ‘movie themes’ to the concert foyer – famous melodies and trailers from ‘Tatort’, ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘West Side Story’. And of course, the bar will be open. Find all information here. Part 1: Seated in our pre assigned section, at a special price only for Zurich Together members, we are able to enjoy together the first part to this fantastic night, the symphony.
