Dundee Swing Your Partner Contra Night

If you have ever wanted to try contra dancing or are looking for a fun way to spend an evening in Dundee, please join us for our upcoming Swing Your Partner Contra Night. We are opening the floor to everyone, from complete beginners who have never stepped foot on a dance floor to experienced dancers looking for a friendly community to share a few sets with. We will have a caller on hand to walk us through the patterns, so there is no need to worry about memorizing steps ahead of time.

This is a relaxed, social gathering designed to get us moving and meeting new people. We focus on the communal side of traditional dance, so you do not need to bring a partner with you; we encourage everyone to mix and dance with different people throughout the night. It is a great way to unwind, get a bit of exercise, and enjoy some live music in a welcoming environment.
