October's Book of the Month is We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer. This one is a deeply unsettling and twisty psychological horror novel, making it the absolute perfect pick for spooky season! It follows a couple whose lives completely unravel when a strange family knocks on their door, claiming they used to live in the house and asking for a quick tour. Think creeping paranoia, claustrophobic atmosphere, and a totally mind-bending journey where reality itself starts to shift. I am incredibly excited for this one, I actually had to go to multiple bookstores to track it down, and the workers at the shops absolutely raved about it!
We’ll chat about the book, vote on what to read next, and take some time to hang out and connect over coffee. I'll have my pink Stanley cup on the table so you know exactly where to find us!
New members are always welcome!
Please RSVP to help me save seats, and if you see a waitlist, please come anyway! We often have cancellations and can always squeeze in another chair, so don't let the attendee limit stop you from joining us.
