🍝🎲 NATIONAL PASTA DAY — TWIRL INTO ANOTHER FUN GAME NIGHT!

📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026
💵 A QUICK $1 GAME NIGHT REMINDER
Before we get to the fun stuff, one important reminder: our regular Saturday Game Nights are $1 per person, per night to help keep the group going. Meet-Up costs us approximately $300 each year, and those small $1 contributions from everyone really do add up and help cover that expense. If you're a regular attendee, please remember to contribute when you come.
✨ Your first Game Night is always free!
Come hang out with us for a relaxed evening full of fun, laughter, and easy party games! In celebration of National Pasta Day, we're serving up another Game Night with all the right ingredients — good food, good friends, plenty of games, and hopefully lots of laughs! Whether your favorite is spaghetti, lasagna, ravioli, fettuccine, or something else entirely, you don't actually have to eat pasta to celebrate with us... just come ready to have some fun!
🤣 Joke of the Day:
Why did the pasta player do so well at Game Night?
Because no matter how tangled things got, they always used their noodle! 🍝🧠😄
Over time, this group has really started finding its own personality. Some people come for the games, others for the laughs and conversations, and many for a little of both. We've built a casual, welcoming atmosphere where regulars and newcomers alike can relax, jump into a game, and simply enjoy the evening without pressure or complicated rules.
But just one hard rule... no political talk please.
📍 LOCATION
Game Night will be held again in the front room of Winners Sports Grill, in the shopping center at Hutchison & Ehrlich, next to/behind the dry cleaners.
5229 Ehrlich Rd, Tampa, FL
❗ Please do NOT follow the outdated Meet-Up map location for Winners Grill on Gunn Hwy — they moved years ago, and Meet-Up has been slow to fix it.
🕔 SCHEDULE
Most people arrive sometime between about 4:45 PM and 6:00 PM for food, conversation, and settling in before games get rolling.
🎲 Games usually begin sometime after dinner and continue until around 9:00–10:00 PM, depending on the crowd, energy, and how competitive things get!
You're welcome to come early, arrive late, or leave whenever needed — the evening is designed to stay relaxed and flexible.
📞 If you reserve and later cannot make it, PLEASE update your RSVP or call the number below so we can help keep an accurate headcount for the restaurant. Thank you!
🎲 ABOUT OUR GAME NIGHTS
We're not a D&D or heavy strategy group. We stick mostly to fun, easygoing games. A few people have called us a "Party Games" group — and one of our regulars once said:
"Hard-core gamers might get frustrated, but I loved it."
Honestly, that probably describes us pretty well!
Past nights' games have included:
Uno, Only One, Yahtzee, Letter Pool, 3Up/3Down, trivia-style games, Sorry, Deer in the Headlights, Rummikub, Ticket to Ride, Sequence, Apples to Apples, Slide, Skip-Bo (Spite & Malice), and more!
🎲 Feel free to bring along a favorite game of your own as well — especially games that work well with 3–6 players and are easy for new people to jump into.
✅ PLEASE RSVP ON MEET-UP
We need a rough headcount to give the restaurant — so please RSVP, and cancel your RSVP if your plans change.
If you have trouble RSVP'ing — or RSVP and then can't make it — please update your RSVP and/or call me at:
📞 833-548-9998
(NOTE: This number is toll-free and not an 813 number, but also does not accept texts, only voicemail.)
⚠️ Seating is limited to around 25 people.
🍽 PLEASE SUPPORT OUR HOST VENUE
The restaurant kindly lets us use the front room at no cost, so please consider ordering food and/or drinks while you're there — and don't forget to tip your server(s).
The staff has generally done a nice job working with our group, so let's continue being patient and appreciative if things get busy.
🧥 This location tends to run fairly warm (although they are finally installing a new air-conditioning unit!!), especially with a larger crowd, so we usually try to bring a fan or two to help circulate the air. That said, if you get cold easily, bringing a sweater just in case is never a bad idea.
💬 As always, we ask everyone to avoid political topics so the atmosphere stays welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable for all.
💵 HELP US KEEP GAME NIGHT GOING — JUST $1
Our $1 Game Night contribution isn't about making money — it's simply how we're trying to cover the cost of keeping the group available on Meet-Up.
The Meet-Up page costs approximately $300 per year, and maintaining it is important because it's not only where our regulars find upcoming events, it's also how new people continue to discover and join our group.
Many of you have been contributing regularly, and thank you — we appreciate it.
If you're attending regularly and haven't been contributing, we're asking you to please start tossing in that $1 each Game Night. If everyone does their small part, no one person has to carry the expense of keeping the group going.
✨ First-time visitors are always free.
💬 If you attend frequently, ask about prepaying for multiple months at a discounted rate.
One dollar isn't much individually — but collectively, those dollars are what help keep Game Night going. 🎲
