Topic of our discussion:
Systems thinking: How do you identify the root cause of a problem …instead of repeatedly reacting to its consequences?
There’s a tendency to address problems first hand at the surface…. instead of tracing it back to where and how it all started.
Maybe what’s troubling us didn’t begin where we think it did.
Perhaps the real source of a problem is rarely the thing we "thought" caused it. Like the saying: the straw that broke the camels back
So:
What happens when we shift from “how do I fix this” to “what keeps producing this?”
What are the pros and cons of treating the symptom of a problem first?
The trail is 3.5 miles, over 800 ft of elevation, considered a moderate hike.
I will greet you by the entrance of the trail, wait for everybody, then begin hiking at 8:10am.
📍I’ll provide more specific location details for where to find the trail few days before our hike.
