The Find: A Virginia Truffle Hunt!

🌟 Foodie MicroAdventure in VA! 🌟

TICKETS for this event are $210.60. See notes below

Hey, fellow food enthusiasts! Join us for an unforgettable afternoon at Virginia Truffles as we explore the art and excitement of hunuting for black Périgord truffles beneath the oak trees.

We'll begin around the bonfire with a seasonal beverage and an intruduction to truffles, the farm, and the expert dogs who help locate these culnary treasures. Then, guided by the truffle hunting team, we'll head into the orchard to search, dig, and learn how to assess truffle ripeness.

After the hunt, enjoy truffle-inspired hors d'oeuvres paired with a celebratory sparkling beverage. You'll also discover helpful tips for preparing, pairing, and preserving truffles at home. The experience concludes with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Virginia Truffles laboratory, where you'll see how fresh truffles are graded, cleaned and stored.

Please note: Hunts take place during the December - February harvest season. Wear warm weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy boots; the terrain may be uneven. Children are welcome but pets should remain at home. Fresh truffles found during the hunt may be available for purchase.
