6.8 mile Saturday walk from The Crown at Regil with lunch
WALK ROUTE Starting at the pub car park we will walk to Winford passing the 15th C church with ancient yews and then go under the huge Victorian aqueduct that spans the valley and onto upper Littleton. From there, we travel through a myriad of small fields typical of this part of Somerset to the edges of Chew Stoke and Regil before returning to the pub. PACE OF WALK For those new to the group, please consider the distance we are walking and the pace. We tend to average 3 miles per hour on varied terrain. Feel free to message me directly if you wish to discuss further. This is a relatively easy walk with 2 small hills and 400ft elevation. PARKING Please arrive at 10.15 for a 10.30 start and consider car sharing if possible. DOGS: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead at all times as many fields contain livestock.
