Fort Smith Mastering the Art of Shadow Puppetry

We are getting together for a hands-on workshop focused on the fundamentals of shadow puppetry. This session is designed for anyone interested in the technical side of storytelling, from crafting silhouettes to mastering the subtle movements that bring a character to life behind the screen. Whether you are a total beginner or have some experience with performance arts, this is a great chance to experiment with light and shadow in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

We will spend the time working through a few basic techniques and then open things up for some collaborative practice. The goal is simply to learn the mechanics of the craft and enjoy a bit of creative time with others in the community. Please bring your curiosity and any ideas you might have for a scene, even if you are just starting to sketch them out.

If you have been waiting for a reason to get involved or just want to try something a little different, we would love to have you join us. Please RSVP when you have a moment so I can make sure we have enough materials and screen space for everyone.
