🏮WHAT TO EXPECT

Unlike dramatized commercial ghost tours, these guides focus on factual history, education, and preservation. They act as historical educators rather than theatrical actors.Deciphering Local History: The guides lead attendees by lantern light through the 1747 Burying Ground to point out specific gravestones of 38 Revolutionary War soldiers and early settlers. They are specifically trained to explain how historic symbols, carvings, and inscriptions on the monuments provide hidden clues about colonial life, relationships, and hardships in Connecticut.Guiding Through Secret Spaces: In addition to the graveyard and the historic Plymouth Green, the guides provide the rare narrative context required when walking through the Eli Terry, Jr. House, where they safely show attendees the home's authentic, secret passageway once used by escaped slaves seeking freedom
