Virginia Woolf: The Mark on the Wall/A Haunted House/Monday or Tuesday

This week, we will be reading three stories from Virginia Woolf- The Mark on the Wall, A Haunted House, and Monday or Tuesday. As the last two are very short, I thought we could stretch beyond the usual two for a change. Link to online source in the comments.

The Short Reads Club Aims to be a celebration of short-form writing, perfect for anyone who wants to join a book club but doesn't have the time or energy to invest in longer reads, people looking for a gentle route back into regular reading, and, of course, general fans of short stories

Twice a month we will read a different short story/stories connected either by theme or author. We read across genres and always welcome suggestions of great pieces to add to our tbr

We meet in The Amnesty Bookshop on Micklegate. Teas and coffees will be available

There is an attendance fee of £3 per person, this goes towards the Meetup fees and snacks. Any excess funds at the end of the year will be donated to Amnesty International UK as thanks for the use of the bookshop
