Are you LGBTQIA+ and a Person of Colour? Do you want to meet others of similar backgrounds, in a relaxed and welcoming space? Look no further! Join Tash and Aaron for a friendly, relaxed social at Rooftop Curzon, Kingston. No agenda - just food, fun and friends! We kindly ask that this event remains a Safe Space for People of Colour only. POC explicitly includes and welcomes Mixed Race People Of Colour. Social is at Rooftop Curzon, Kingston The Bentall Centre, Wood St, Kingston upon Thames, London, KT1 1TP We have a table booked under the name "Tash" from 1830. If you don't see us, just ask one of the waiters to point you in the direction of the table. Since this is more of a casual social than our usual meals, we'll have a relaxed arrival time. You are welcome to come for a drink or two, light bites or meal - whatever you feel! The menu contains alcohol, soft and hot drinks and caters for vegans and vegetarians. Please kindly keep your RSVP updated, for ease of organisation. Nervous about not knowing anyone? Try not to be! You will soon be smiling and feeling more connected to community. We do exist! If you can no longer make it, please inform Tash/Aaron asap and change your RSVP. QTIPOC events are few and far between and this ensures that everyone can access a much-needed, valuable space. Access: From the website: The accessible toilet is situated on the 3rd floor. There's lift access between each floor. The lift has a maximum weight limit of 900 kg. We recognise this is not the extent of accessibility. Please do not hesitate to reach out regarding any access queries and we shall do our best to get these answered. We strive to make our events as inclusive as possible and understand the additional difficulties faced by disabled QTIPOC. We look forward to seeing you! If you have any ideas for what you would like to see for local LGBTQIA+ POC, we will be more than happy to hear your suggestions. At each event, we discuss venues for future events, be it a meal at a favourite restaurant or our recent picnic. So, if you have any suggestions let us know and we can have a vote.
