Hi Everyone!!! Karl is back from his epic trip to Greece. Kudos to Alex for doing such an epic job with the September mixer. From now it's going to be a joint production with the best of our mutual energies. We'll be continuing with some of the innovations that made Sept such a success as we keep forging forward with more epic speakers, panels and of course networking! Are we detecting a theme? YES, IT REALLY HAPPENED!!! The SD County Board of Supervisors has unanimously voted to advance the San Diego County Film Initiative, establishing permanent regional infrastructure and financial incentives to bring film and television production to the region. This means a film commission, a regional film office, rebate programs and much, much more! To discuss the campaign and what it means for us, we’re having a Super Panel with CVEC founder and CEO Aaron David Roberts, Jane Hare of the SD Film Commission Foundation and SD Media Pros, and IATSE president Greg Sowizdrzal.
