5th Anniversary Hike 🎉 - Pat Sin Leng (Ridge of the eight immortals)

Hello Hike n’ Trail Fam! 👋

Hard to believe, but this hike marks our 5th Anniversary! Exactly five years ago, our very first trek across Pat Sin Leng was what founded this group. To celebrate, we’re heading right back to where it all started!

Hike: Pat Sin Leng (Ridge of the Eight Immortals)
Date: November 29, 2026
Meet Time: 8:45 AM (departing 9:00 AM sharp)
Meet Point: Fanling MTR Station (Exit C) ➔ taking Minibus 52B to Hok Tau Wai Pavilion
Distance: Approx. 12 km
Difficulty: 4 / 5 (lots of stairs, open ridge)
Views: 4.5 / 5 (panoramic coastal & mountain vistas)
Bring: At least 2L–2.5L water, trail snacks, sun protection, and shoes with solid grip.

As usual! There will be a Hike Lead Captain and Hike Rear Captain.

Target moving pace is around 3.5 – 4.0 km/h on flats/rolling sections and a steady pace on climbs. We regroup at major peaks, but this is not a casual walk.
