Chambly Women’s Book Club – September Meeting 📖 Circe by Madeline Miller 📅 September 27th at 1:00 PM 📍 Presse Café Chambly For our September gathering, we will be reading Circe - a beautifully written and captivating retelling of Greek mythology that gives voice to one of its most fascinating women. Born to the mighty Titan Helios but never quite fitting into the world of gods, Circe discovers a power all her own. Banished to a remote island, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and transformation, crossing paths with legendary figures such as Odysseus, Hermes, Medea, and the Minotaur. Rich with magic, mythology, and unforgettable characters, Circe explores what it means to find your own strength and choose your own path. As always, our discussion will be relaxed and welcoming. There is no pressure to analyze deeply or to have finished the entire book. Whether you've read a little or a lot, you are warmly invited to join. Discussions will be mainly in English, with some French welcome as well if helpful. Come for meaningful conversation, connection, and a cozy autumn afternoon over coffee or tea.
