This interactive 3-hour workshop explores the psychology behind healthy relationships and offers practical, evidence-based tools that can be applied to dating, long-term relationships and everyday communication. Drawing on research from the Gottman Method, we will explore some of the key patterns that help relationships thrive, including: Building friendship, trust and emotional connection Understanding how we respond to conflict Recognising communication patterns that can damage relationships Learning healthier ways to express needs and manage disagreements Strengthening intimacy, appreciation and connection Reflecting on the habits that help relationships remain strong over time The workshop combines psychoeducation with practical exercises, reflection and group discussion, creating an informal and engaging space to explore relationship psychology. It will be facilitated by Marta (MSc, PGDip, BA), a Psychologist, Sexologist and Couples Therapist trained in the Gottman Method (Levels 1–3) and member of the European Federation of Sexologists and the Psychological Society of Ireland, together with Elyan (MSc, BSc), an Assistant Psychologist and Graduate Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland, trained in Gottman Method Level 1. Who is this workshop for? Anyone interested in understanding relationships better. You are welcome whether you are single, dating, in a relationship, or simply curious about psychology, communication and human connection. You do not need to attend with a partner, and no previous knowledge of psychology is required. The group will be kept small to encourage interaction, discussion and a comfortable atmosphere.
