Enjoy Autumn at Mount Ikoma and Its Retro Amusement Park!
Date: Sunday, November 8th, 2026 (2nd Sunday)

✨Join us for an autumn hike through beautiful nature!
We’ll visit Hiraoka Shrine, scenic viewpoints, and Nukata Garden before enjoying lunch and free time at the amusement park near the summit. Those who wish can also enjoy rides such as the roller coaster!
On the way down, we’ll take the cable car and visit Hozanji Temple.

✍️Meeting Point:
① Outside the Central Ticket Gates, JR Osaka Station — 9:05 AM
② Outside the East Ticket Gate, Kintetsu Hiraoka Station (Hiraoka Shrine side) — 10:00 AM
Coming from Osaka? Use the underground passage to cross to the opposite side.

🗺️Example Route: JR Osaka 9:17 → JR Tsuruhashi 9:33 → Kintetsu Tsuruhashi 9:38 → Kintetsu Hiraoka 9:55

👟Route: Hiraoka Station → Hiraoka Shrine → Hiraoka Park → Nukata Viewpoint → Nukata Garden → Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park (lunch and about 2 hours of free time) → Cable car → Hozanji Temple (visit and stroll) → Cable car → Kintetsu Ikoma Station (finish around 4:00 PM)

👉Difficulty: Beginner to intermediate; some continuous uphill sections, at a relaxed pace.

🌟Distance: Approx. 4 km | Walking time: Approx. 3–4 hours

👀Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park: Free admission! Pay only for the rides you choose. Enjoy spectacular views from around 640 m above sea level and a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere.

💰Participation fee: ¥200

💰Transportation is extra. The cable car costs ¥500 one way, payable in cash.

🎒Bring: Packed lunch, drinks, picnic mat, warm clothing, and hiking shoes. It may be chilly at the summit, so bring an extra layer.

🥳After-hike get-together: We’re considering an area near Kintetsu Ikoma Station or Tsuruhashi. We’ll ask everyone during lunch and decide together.
New members and first-time hikers are very welcome! Let’s enjoy the autumn scenery and have a wonderful day together!

★ The hike will be canceled in case of heavy rain. Please check the Kansai Ramblers website on the day before the event.

☆ Participation is at your own risk.
☆ Please follow the instructions of the leader and sub-leaders.
☆ If you need to leave early, be sure to inform one of them.

About the Kansai Ramblers: This is a hiking group aimed at international exchange. We hold hiking events on the second Sunday of every month (except for August), we volunteer to guide foreigners on hiking trails in the Kansai region.
We will have a meeting for the next hike at lunch. We take turns choosing leaders, so please suggest your preferred location.

～秋の生駒山と山上遊園地を楽しもう！～
秋の自然を楽しみながら、生駒山の山頂を目指しませんか？
枚岡神社や展望台、ぬかた園地を巡り、山頂の遊園地でランチ＆自由時間！希望者はジェットコースターなどの乗り物も楽しめます。
下山時はケーブルカーで宝山寺に立ち寄ります。

⏰ 集合場所・時間
① JR大阪駅 中央改札口外 9:05
② 近鉄枚岡駅 東改札口（枚岡神社側）外 10:00
※大阪方面から来る方は地下通路をくぐって反対側へ。
アクセス例： JR大阪 9:17 → JR鶴橋 9:33 → 近鉄鶴橋 9:38 → 近鉄枚岡 9:55

👟コース： 枚岡駅 → 枚岡神社 → 枚岡公園 → 額田山展望台 → ぬかた園地 → 生駒山上遊園地（昼食・約2時間）→ ケーブルカー → 宝山寺（参拝・散策）→ ケーブルカー → 近鉄生駒駅（16:00頃解散）

👣レベル： 初級～中級（登りが続きますが、ゆったり歩きます）距離：約4km／歩行時間：約3～4時間

生駒山上遊園地： 入園無料。乗り物は各自払い。標高約640mからの絶景と昭和レトロな雰囲気も魅力です。

💰参加費： 200円
※ケーブルカー片道500円（現金）など交通費は実費。

🎒持ち物： お弁当、飲み物、敷き物、防寒具など。歩きやすい服装・トレッキングシューズでご参加ください。山頂は冷えることがあるため上着もお忘れなく。

🥳ハイキング後の宴会： 近鉄生駒駅周辺または鶴橋周辺を予定。ランチタイムに希望を確認してから決めます♪
