Monthly Meeting: Secular Caucus & Michigan Atheists Elections

Protecting the 1st Amendment starts locally.

The line between church and state is under pressure, and it’s time to organize. Join us at this month’s Michigan Atheists meeting as we lay the groundwork for the brand-new Michigan Secular Caucus and hold our annual Board of Directors elections.

Our mission is clear: to vet our duly elected representatives, fight back against religious extremism, and ensure our politicians fiercely protect these sacred American values.

What’s on the agenda:

The Blueprint: Outlining the formation and strategy of our new statewide caucus.
Secular Allies: Highlighting current political members who are secular or staunch defenders of secular values.
National Alignment: Discussing the Congressional Freethought Caucus and how it models our local efforts.
Guest Speaker(s): To Be Announced

Whether you’re a long-time advocate or just looking to get involved in protecting our democratic principles, your voice is needed. Let’s build a firewall for reason in Michigan politics.
