A GREAT way to start the New Year! The plan is to hike the entire 8.5 mile Pens Mills Trail depending on trail condition and weather. There are several "bail out" points along the way if needed. Trails are slightly more challenging than most Pine Barren trails. Boardwalks over wet areas, as well as some stairs and a few hundred feet of elevation. Listed as one of the 50 best hikes in New Jersey. We will meet in the parking lot close to the nature center. Dress for the weather & bring snacks & water. Yes, wear your New Years party hat if you like!! Sever weather cancels hike. PLEASE arrive 15 minute PRIOR to start time.
