NEW! 6.25/5 or 4.25/5 miles around Wisley, Wey Navigation and river Wey.

A lovely generally flat walk and if it has been raining on Saturday or lots in the week, wear some boots please. If we are lucky with some sunshine, the river Wey and Wey Navigation will be lovely and we see some animals and nice houses, making it a good varied walk which I enjoyed when I checked it today, Monday 26th October.

For the 4.25 mile walk.

We will pass through Wrens Nest Car Park on Wisley Lane GU23 6QD which is where you will join the walk. (If you pass the entrance to Wisley Gardens on your left., shortly after the car park is on your right). I expect to be there by 11.45am and you will be back by 1pm. We will join you from Wisley Common and go back through there as well. Arrive 5 or 10 minutes early to secure a parking space.

Few people know that there is a footpath through Wisley gardens but we shall use that and you will see some parts of it and the rivers along with Ockham Mill and a bit of Wisley Golf Course.

For the 6.25 mile walk

Meet at 11am at the end of Redhill Road where there is lots of free parking. KT11 1EH

We then pass over Wisley Common, join the short distance group and return via a different part of the common to the car.
