πŸŒ• Full Moon β€” Walking & Moving Meditation Saturday 26 September | 6:15–7:15 pm πŸ“ Weston Shore Promenade, Southampton Join us for a special evening Walking & Moving Meditation as we come together under the Full Moon. πŸŒ•πŸŒΏ This will be a shorter, gentle and atmospheric gathering β€” a chance to slow down, breathe, move and be present while watching the evening sky change around us. You don’t need any meditation experience, and you don’t need to sit still to meditate. πŸŒ… What we’ll do We’ll begin with a relaxed walk along the shore, allowing ourselves to gradually slow down and become more aware of our surroundings. During the walk we’ll have moments to: πŸ‘£ Walk mindfully β€” noticing our footsteps, body and breath. 🌊 Connect with our surroundings β€” taking in the water, sky, sounds and changing evening light. πŸŒ€ Move freely β€” a gentle moving meditation with no choreography and no right or wrong way to move. 🌬️ Pause & breathe β€” creating a little space to simply be present. πŸŒ• Experience the Full Moon β€” taking some quiet time to look up, observe the Moon and enjoy the moment. πŸ’¬ Connect β€” we’ll finish with a little time to share, chat and connect with the people we’ve met. This isn’t a formal meditation class and there is nothing you need to β€œdo” perfectly. Walking can be meditation. Movement can be meditation. Being in nature can be meditation. Sometimes we simply need to stop rushing and allow ourselves to be fully present with what is happening around us. Come alone or bring a friend or family member. Everyone is welcome. ❀️ πŸŒ• A little bit of timing magic… The Full Moon reaches its fullest point at around 5:49 pm, and the Moon rises in Southampton at around 6:33 pm, with sunset shortly afterwards. So we’ll be there at just the right time to experience the transition from daylight into the evening and hopefully see the Full Moon rising above the horizon. Allow approximately 60 minutes. Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and suitable shoes, and bring a layer in case the evening is cool. If the weather is looking unsuitable, we’ll keep an eye on conditions and update the event if necessary. 🌿 Come walk. Come move. Come breathe. Come be present. And let the Moon do the rest. πŸŒ•βœ¨
