WhatsApp Community Group (Not event) 📱

Hello everyone - my name is Sebastian and I'm the WhatsApp Coordinator for the official WhatsApp Stirling Social Activities Community. You'll also see me popping up as a IRL 'host' too 👋

How do you join?

Joining the WhatsApp Community is totally voluntary, as we know some members will prefer not to join, but others will. To join you must be a member of the Stirling Social Activities Meetup Group. 📱

You can join in 3 easy ways:

1. Send a MeetUp message to me (Sebastian) asking to join the WhatsApp Community
2. "Attend" this 'event' and I'll message you on MeetUp
3. Comment on this 'event' and I'll message you on MeetUp

What's it for?

There are currently a number of channels within the Community: Cinema, Food & Drink, Walking, Badminton, Kayaking, Live Events, Board Games & Gaming and a Misc Channel. These allow members to chat with each other, find common interests and organise more ad hoc activities. 🤝

Activities through the WhatsApp Community are in an addition to, and not instead of, the MeetUp activities you'll see on here. Some MeetUp events you've seen recently, such as the Hoi An meal and Bat Walk, started out as chats in the WhatsApp Community! 🍿

You can see a bit more on this in the ‘About Us information Section 5 [5]’ 👀

Behaviours

Stirling Social Activities Group's 'Acceptable Behaviours [2]' fully apply to the WhatsApp Community. 📝

Questions

If you have any questions about the WhatsApp do message me (Sebastian) and I'll be happy to answer them. ❓

Membership Fee

If you have not done so yet, please consider our yearly voluntary £5 (or more!) donation, to help us cover the MeetUp fees. This is so that we can keep our group going!
