CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Witches & Stitches Jersey City Writers is bringing back our much beloved Halloween Genre Night. Wow us with your wise-cracking werewolves, your zinger-slinging zombies, goofy gargoyles, and creepy clowns; or give us any other take on this year’s theme: Witches & Stitches: A Horror Comedy Event. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES DEADLINE SEPT. 28 | 11:59 PM (Before Midnight!) Stick to the theme and make it your own: Witches & Stitches. All genres are welcome be it fiction, poetry, nonfiction, play, or any other. Someone please submit a short play to be read by multiple performers. ;-) Keep it to 500 words or less. Respect the deadline! SUBMISSION FORM: CLICK HERE! A panel of judges will choose the top entries. Those selected pieces will be read by a performer. Come in costume to our 21+ party on Saturday, October 31, in our space at 157B 1st Street, Room 608, Jersey City, from 7pm to 10pm. Suggested Donation: $20 at the door via Paypal, Venmo, or Cash.
