6/7 mile walk with a bit of everything thrown in . Easy walk at easy pace. Might be a bit of mud in the first couple of fields. Couple of stiles, moorland , pathways and a bit of a bog , although last time I walked this you can divert around the bog .Dogs will need to be on lead . Walk through the woods to the geographical Site of Special Scientific Interest known as Wharncliffe Crags. Parking is limited so car share would be wise if you can . Finish back at the car park and drive to The Wortley Arms for a drink afterwards. Mini reccie done as I’ve done this walk recently. First two fields are now full of sheep and lambs so we will need to be mindful of this. Not too muddy but walked them to find the best route . Posted a picture of the sign where you will turn into to park your car. Past Wortley Wagyou which will be on your right of track and stables to your left . We can't guarantee the finish time. The meetup system means we have to put a finish time on the event but it depends on the pace of the group on the day.
Don't worry about Unpaid by your name, we don't use that system. £1 on the day please. Lastly, please remember we are not qualified walk leaders, we are not insured and you walk at your own risk.
